Seal off entry points 

Once our rat control technicians have sanitized your home, their goal is the prevention of a future rodent infestation. To stop rodents from making their way into your home we include in our services the following: 

• We use a foam sealant to plug up cracks and crevices in your walls, attic, foundation, or other areas where rats can nest. 
• We put up metal screening wherever it makes sense to prevent rats from chewing their way into the building. 
• We also put wire mesh over your downspouts to keep rodents from trying to “go up the water spout” and into your house.
• We fix all leaking pipes or drains which give rodents access to your home. 
• Pure Eco professionals will screen your windows and doors for any rodent damage and the presence of entry points there. 
• We also prevent wires, cables, pipes, or other utilities from being entry points for rats and mice as part of our service. We use sheet metal, wire mesh, foam sealant, and hardware cloth. 
• Cap your chimney if you have one to prevent rats from entering your home. If vents or Expertvent screens are missing or damaged, they need to be replaced. Any holes or damaged shingles on your roof must also be repaired.
