Batts insulation

This can be made of fiberglass or cellulose. Whatever you choose, either works equally well. Batts are perfect for fitting between standardly spaced studs and are the most affordable (and most popular) form of insulation on the market. In many situations, batts are adequate or even ideal.

Blown-in insulation

Blown-in (loose) insulation is very popular for attic floors and for filling in ceilings and walls. Its strength is that it compacts more tightly against surfaces than batts. However, It’s a bit more pricey.

Soundproof insulation

When you want to soundproof a room, perhaps because it will be a baby’s sleeping room or a media room, ROXUL soundproof insulation is your answer. It is extremely dense and strongly muffles both impact and resonating sounds. It’s also fireproof, mold-proof, and has a huge R-value.

Our Insulation Installation Process

At Pure Eco, we approach each and every project in an organized, step-by-step way to save time, avoid mishaps, and ensure we get the job done right.

1. The first step is to inspect the area to be insulated. We first prepare the space in order to get you your maximum R-value and overall value. This may entail air-sealing small holes and large gaps in your attic, replacing a moldy rafter board, or cleaning away rat droppings. 
2. If your attic is old or has damaged insulation, we carefully proceed to insulation removal for a safe disposal of harmful materials. We clear the space to make room for brand-new, more effective insulation.
3. Then we proceed to install the insulation, always in an orderly way. We work across the floorboards with blown-in, so insulation falls into each row making sure that it’s compact and evenly distributed. Then, for a snug fit for each piece and a solid barrier, we move from one end of the work area to the other with batts.

We never consider the project completed until we have cleaned up and triple-checked that everything is and looks as it should.
